Passage Two

Mr. Young lives in a village. His father has a big piece of farm and works hard on it. The old man always wears old clothes and eats the cheapest food. So he leaves a lot of money to his son when he dies. The young man buys everything he wants and wears the most beautiful clothes.

It is December. Mr. Young goes to the town to buy something for Christmas Day. He buys a lot of expensive things and puts them in his car. His friend sees it and goes to say hello to him. It snows hard and the weather is cold. The man asks him to drink in the bar. They drink much and at last he goes to sleep. (52) When they wake up, night falls. They go out of the bar, but he can’t find his car. He goes to the police station and tells them about it.
